UPA Government has increased Diesel prices by 3.72, with regards to this hike BMTC & KSRTC fairs have changed. the updated ticket price in KSRTC & BMTC is as follows.
Change in BMTC bus fair:
Fairs for 1st,6th & 8th stage remains same while 2nd,3rd,4th,5th & 7th stages increased by 1 Rs.
For 9th & 25th stages fairs increased by Rs 2 this hike is applicable to all bus services including Big10,pushpak,suvarna & janapriya vahini.
Dialy passes:
The ordinary bus pass with identity card will now cost Rs 5 more i.e 40 Rs.
The ordinary bus pass without identity card will cost 45 Rs.
Vajra daily gold pass will cost 90Rs.

Bangalore to Mysore cost RS 101(Previously it was 95Rs)
Bangalore to Mangalore Rs 253 (Previously it was 237Rs)
Bangalore to Gulbarga Rs 441 (previously it was 412 Rs)
Bangalore to Hubli cost Rs 291(Previously it was 273 Rs)
Updated fairs of KSRTC Rajahmasa:
Bangalore to Mysore 153 Rs (Previous rate 143 Rs)
Bangalore to Mangalore 385 Rs (Previous rate 357 Rs)
Bangalore to Gulbarga 676 Rs (Previous rate 628 Rs)
Bangalore to Hubli 444 Rs (Previous rate 413 Rs)
Overall 5.12% hike in bus fairs. these fairs are effective from saturday midnight
